Strategic Fundraising Lead

This role is designed for an experienced professional seeking a challenging opportunity to drive strategic fundraising initiatives, foster meaningful partnerships, and contribute to the growth of a reputable organization.

The Associate Director of Fundraising and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that engages corporate partners, high-net-worth individuals, and foundations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a purpose-driven fundraising plan that leverages relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analyzing market trends and data to identify lucrative funding opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities.
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective funders and corporate partners.
  • Establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with target funder groups, crafting compelling proposals, and tailoring pitch materials to our value proposition.
  • Representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance institutional understanding and secure partnership opportunities.
  • Monitoring commitments, managing deadlines, and working closely with project leads to prepare reports.
  • Conducting due diligence on potential partners and ensuring engagements comply with relevant laws and codes of practice.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Masters degree in Management, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience, preferably in B2B sales or not-for-profit fundraising.
  • Association with philanthropy and fundraising is highly desirable.
