Lab Program Manager, Amazon Smart Vehicles

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Device Lab Program Manager to join our Amazon Smart Vehicles team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of our device labs, including hardware and software, and ensuring the availability of test equipment and parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all aspects of labs, equipment resources, including hardware and software, update all lab infrastructure, equipment, and software configurations.
- Ensure availability of test equipment and parts. Understanding customer use cases, strong device/system troubleshooting skills down to component and software levels. Hand soldering as required.
- Procuring, negotiating, organizing and maintaining stock of test equipment, third party devices, prototype devices for troubleshooting and debug. Identifying pros/cons of test equipment and evaluating new ones for potential procurement. Onboarding new vendors to the tool and overall vendor management for evaluation, demos. Device returns and required support for calibration.
- Dealing with international vendors for device imports and Customs, working closely with device security team for tracking of devices and inventory, placing and tracking Purchase orders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, understand their requirements and implement solutions like enable automation and reduce the manual efforts for testing.
- Actively participate in team meetings, project planning, prioritization discussions, solicit and process feedback for solutions proposed.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, tend to over-communicate and over-document.
- Documentation, data reporting and maintenance for operational efficiency.
- Brainstorm ideas to come up with new tools to deliver efficiently

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in device procurement, inventory management
- 1+ years of experience in lab maintenance
- Sealing with ambiguity
- Hands on experience working cross-functionally and externally with multiple vendors
- 1+ years of experience handling Processes, safety and security measures efficiently
- Troubleshooting issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on with Automotive rewiring to build a test platform
- Working on bucks and building favorable test environment
- Maintaining all aspects of labs, equipment resources, including hardware and software, update all lab infrastructure, equipment, and software configurations.
- Documentation, data reporting and maintenance for operational efficiency.
