About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team at OpenText. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their success with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical support to customers via chat, phone, and email, resolving complex issues and escalating as necessary.
  • Work closely with customers who have our solutions on-premise and in the cloud, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest features and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product engineering, to identify and resolve software defects and customer requested features.
  • Act as a mentor and escalation point for junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay current on internal alerts, training, and process changes, ensuring you are prepared for the evolving requirements of the role.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical support and customer-centric environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent OpenText as a technical expert.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux/UNIX operating systems, with experience in diagnostic analysis and hypothesis formulation.
  • Proven experience working in a fluid environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and career progression.
