Job Title

Unit HR Head is a pivotal role that requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills and expertise in human resource management.

The primary objective of this position is to partner with unit leaders to formulate and implement strategic HR plans, aimed at enhancing business outcomes. This involves fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and maintaining open lines of communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies to support units in achieving their goals.
  • Cultivate a productive workplace culture through various employee engagement programs.
  • Implement the Continuous Performance Management System, encompassing goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms in collaboration with the Corporate HR team.
  • Identify high-potential employees within the unit and facilitate their development through the Talent Development Centre, in partnership with the Corporate HR team.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate HR team to ensure employee participation in Individual Development Plans (IDPs), aiming to enhance overall functional and behavioral competencies.
  • Promote Recognition and Rewards programs to acknowledge and incentivize high-performing employees.
  • Lead talent acquisition for the unit, ensuring timely hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Design strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new hires.
  • Identify training needs within the unit and coordinate training programs in conjunction with the corporate Learning and Development team.
  • Lead and mentor the unit HR team, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Requirements:

  • Any graduate degree, preferably MBA in Human Resources.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the role of HR Business Partner.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven team leadership abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.
