At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Financial Recovery Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in driving the collection process of receivables across multiple sources, thereby reducing the total outstanding and the associated average number of days while maintaining a healthy relationship with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Correspond with Multiple Sources: Negotiate payment schedules that suit customers' current financial situations while still satisfying debt obligations.
  • Portfolio Management: Track specific buckets for assigned areas, control delinquency, and focus on non-starters.
  • Customer Service: Provide efficient customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies, and short payments.
  • Account Maintenance: Monitor and maintain customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, making customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-off, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos when necessary.
  • Defaulters and Assets: Trace defaulters and assets in coordination with the agency's tracing team and suggest remedial courses of action.
  • Relationship Maintenance: Identify defaulting accounts, investigate reasons for default, and continue to maintain a healthy relationship with customers.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all audit/regulatory bodies as well as company policies and procedures.
