Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Payable Process Expert. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, vendor management, and financial record maintenance.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Accounts Payable specialist to take their career to the next level. As a Payable Process Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and coding invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitoring and supporting timely approval of invoices to ensure vendors are paid according to applicable payment terms.
  • Processing payments to vendors by creating and transmitting payment files to external banks, both domestic and international.
  • Performing Accounts Payable reconciliation at month-end to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assisting the Accounting team with month-end accruals and other closing deliverables.
  • Gathering relevant documentation and performing necessary due diligence for supplier creation and maintenance.
  • Reviewing and approving expense reports in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Ensuring goals of processing transactions while building partnerships with internal customers and vendors.
  • Providing travel and expense (T&E) support to employees, including assistance with travel inquiries and expense management.
  • Working with vendors to resolve past due balances and remittance issues.
  • Executing the Year-End US 1099 Reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting ERP system regression testing to ensure functionality and stability during system updates and changes.
  • Operating effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience working within an Accounts Payable team, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with AP functionality of various ERP systems; Oracle Cloud Fusion knowledge highly preferred.
  • Experience working as an administrator and the processing of expense reports through Concur preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Working understanding of automation processes, including Alteryx, Tableau, and other analysis tools a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive to continuously improve, build, and re-engineer processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
