Scrum Master – Customer Marketing

Job Description

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of high-quality products within agreed-upon timelines. You will work closely with Product Owners from the Customer Marketing team on PI planning, prioritizing product feature backlogs and coordinating with development teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Scrum practices and facilitating agile teams. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Some of your key responsibilities will include organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives, educating and reinforcing agile methodologies within the team and across the organization, identifying and removing obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, and fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging open communication and continuous feedback.

Additionally, you will track and report on team performance metrics and progress towards sprint goals, assist the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog and facilitate effective communication between the Product Owner and the development team.

Proficient in Java programming language is an added advantage, along with understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate, knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services development in Java, familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular and basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.

With 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an agile environment, you will have a proven track record of successfully implementing Scrum practices and facilitating agile teams. Experience in software development is highly desirable but not necessary.
