Job Title: Civil Structural Engineer

About the Role:

This position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in civil and structural engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support to clients in the oil and gas industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various codes (ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, IBC) and experience with structural design software (STAAD, SAFE, ETABS).

Furthermore, excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with offshore teams, sales teams, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with offshore teams to provide extended engineering support as required.
  • Assist the sales team in business development efforts.
  • Understand client requirements for various projects and visit client locations for technical discussions.
  • Perform engineering and drawing preparation, leading a civil and structural team.
  • Provide engineering support to customers' engineering teams and coordinate with local authorities for approval of engineering designs and drawings.
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones is essential.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering with a major in structural engineering.
  • More than 5 years of industrial structural design experience.
  • Knowledge of various codes (ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, IBC) and experience with structural design software (STAAD, SAFE, ETABS).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and basic knowledge of modeling software (AutoCAD, PDMS, TEKLA).
