Oracle Technical Consultant Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of an Oracle Technical Consultant with extensive experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Planning and Consolidation (PCM) applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle EPCM modules, including Essbase, PCMCS/EPCM, and Planning and Budgeting (PBCS).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and configuring Oracle EPCM modules with in-depth knowledge of configuration, data management, and reporting.
  • Configuring and customizing EPCM modules, including defining cost drivers, allocation rules, and reporting structures.
  • Providing technical knowledge of Oracle EPCM, its features, functionalities, and integration capabilities with other Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Managing data mappings, validations, and transformations within EPCM and integrating it with other systems.
  • Ensuring alignment of the EPCM solution with the organization's business processes and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA Finance or Bachelor's Degree in computer or IT related subject; finance background also applicable.
  • 10+ years EPM/PCM experience in administration, design, analysis, development, and Support of applications in various domains and products related to EPM and PCM.
  • Experience in PBCS Business rules - Design, Development, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with EDMCS and custom files for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial Close and Reporting Services
  • SQL, PL/SQL, Autosys Scheduling, Unix/Windows Shell Scripting
