Overview:
The Senior Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing key client accounts within the enterprise sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key clients in the enterprise sector, serving as the primary point of contact and developing a deep understanding of their business needs, challenges, and goals.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to identify opportunities for growth, upselling, and cross-selling. Work with clients to align their business objectives with our products and services.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by effectively presenting and selling our solutions to key clients, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, and acquiring new enterprise clients.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and drive revenue growth. Coordinate resources to address client needs and deliver on commitments.
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, gathering feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and working with internal teams to enhance our offerings and service delivery.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the enterprise sector, leveraging this knowledge to develop effective sales strategies and differentiate our solutions.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while protecting our interests. Manage contract renewals, expansions, and amendments.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on key account metrics, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and sales forecasts, providing regular updates to the management team on the status of key accounts and sales activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in enterprise software/smart manufacturing/industrial automation solutions selling with automotive, pharma, FMCG, metal, or any process industry.
- Proven experience in enterprise sales, key account management, or business development.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise market and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Good contacts in the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent networking and influencing skills to win business.
