Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. With a unique business model, the company provides livelihood to artisans at their doorstep, eliminating the need for middlemen. This approach has enabled the company to build a network of over 40,000 artisans across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India.
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for handling project business through architects and interior designers primarily in the residential space. The ideal candidate should have a sales background, be energetic, and have a passion for luxury and design. They should be well-connected with IDAs in the region and able to network with them socially at events and exhibitions. The person should also have excellent communication skills and relationship-building skills. Additionally, they should be willing to go the extra mile to achieve company goals and customer expectations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of relevant experience in sales or a similar category. They should have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Design, Marketing, or CRM. They should also have handled or have knowledge of project business through architects and interior designers. Furthermore, they should have empathy, love, and compassion as integral parts of their self, which will enable them to lead the presented portfolio in its entirety. They should also be a firm believer and practitioner of organizational philosophy, values, and culture, which they will imbibe in their day-to-day interaction with customers.
