Human Resources Manager Job Description

This role leads and manages the HR function, driving strategic initiatives across HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture-building.

The successful candidate will mentor HR teams, ensure compliance, and implement people processes that align with business goals to support organizational growth.

  1. Lead and mentor a lean team of HR professionals, setting clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), balancing workloads, and driving accountability.
  2. Oversee global mobility and travel operations, including visa applications, deputations, travel policy compliance, and budget control.
  3. Own HR policy governance, audit readiness, and end-to-end HR administration, including payroll, statutory filings, onboarding, and offboarding.
  4. Champion employee experience through office amenities, wellness programs, pulse surveys, and rapid-response action plans.
  5. Develop and execute a culture-building strategy to boost engagement and reduce attrition.
  6. Embed SteepGraph's 5-DNA values through team-led workshops, leadership forums, and signature events.
  7. Design and approve a total-rewards framework, including salary cycles, incentives, spot awards, and ESOP communications.
  8. Prioritize and review Learning & Development initiatives, including curriculum design and impact reporting.
  9. Drive CSR strategy and employer branding in collaboration with Talent Acquisition on social media and campus outreach.
  10. Own Talent Acquisition and HR governance, including sourcing, screening, offers, TA metrics, complex escalations, and HR-tech optimizations.
Requirements:
  • A Post-Graduation or Master's degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized university or institute.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and analyze HR and people performance for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge of HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday (preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and engage effectively at all organizational levels to drive results.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
