Senior Manager Project Finance Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our project finance activities for solar projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial structuring, project evaluation, and fundraising.

  • Project Financing Activities: Lead the financing strategy for solar projects, liaise with banks/financial institutions, and ensure timely financial closure.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and evaluate detailed financial models including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Debt Raising Process: Manage end-to-end debt raising process from preparing DPRs and loan applications to negotiations and disbursement.
  • Liaison Services: Liaise with banks, NBFCs, investors, and credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
  • Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and financial covenants.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (Business Development, EPC, Legal) for financial due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules for ongoing projects.
Requirements:
  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / equivalent with strong financial background.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy / power / infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record in debt raising, project financing, and financial closures.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
