**Deputy General Manager - Tendering/Proposal Role Summary

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Tender Preparation: This position involves the preparation of tenders for various sectors including Oil and Gas, Energy.
  • Bid Management: Should have proficiency across end-to-end Bid management/Tendering including technical writeup & cost estimation, subcontracting, JVs, consortium, client liaisoning and project management.
  • Tender Identification: Identify relevant tenders from PSUs, Govt Agencies and private companies through various resources.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare pre-qualification documents, EOI, BIDS, attend pre bid meetings etc.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain excellent professional relations with clients as well as coordinate with central functions for bid compliance.
  • Execution Team Coordination: Coordinate with Execution team and maintain relationship with all external parties for bidding job.
  • Correspondence: Liasioning and day to day correspondence along with legal contractual correspondences with customers.
  • MIS Reports: Generate relevant MIS reports/tender tracking updates.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve order booking target from Tenders.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation and correspondence of BD activities and update credentials on regular basis.
  • Business Forecasting: Business Sales Forecasting.
  • Empanelment: Ensure new empanelment and renewal of existing one with PSU and other agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: B.Tech Electrical/Mechanical + 10 years experience in bidding/tendering; overall 10-15 years experience.
  • Preferrable Qualification: MBA preferred.

  • Bidding & Tendering Knowledge: Knowledge of Bidding & Tendering activity.
  • Strategic and Analytical Ability: Strategic and analytical ability. Good writing and calculation skills.
