Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Climate Change Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of relevant experience in tender management, specifically in the field of climate change and sustainability.

The Climate Change Proposal Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal development process for projects in carbon markets, renewable energy, environmental services, and natural-based solutions initiatives. This role requires strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate, or donor-funded projects, as well as excellent writing and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting proposals for sustainability, carbon credits, or renewable energy projects, with exposure to working with international donors, development banks, or corporates. They will be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple deadlines and coordinating across departments.

  • Manage the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids in line with client and sector requirements
  • Review tender documents and identify compliance requirements, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Draft and structure high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to carbon markets, renewable energy, and sustainability projects

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification (Bachelor's/Master's degree)
