Seeking a skilled technical professional to provide production support and application maintenance for systems running on Tandem, Linux, and Windows platforms.

This role involves monitoring and troubleshooting issues across multiple database environments, performing routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades, as well as collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Tandem HP NonStop systems, proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments, solid understanding of SQL, and experience with Sybase, Oracle, and other relational databases.

A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills is required, along with the ability to work independently during off-hours and participate in on-call rotation.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring system health dashboards are up-to-date and automating routine checks where possible.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide L2/L3 support for applications and systems running on Tandem, Linux, and Windows platforms.

2. Monitor and troubleshoot issues across multiple database environments - SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, etc.

3. Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades for supported systems.

4. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes.

5. Ensure timely communication and documentation of issues resolutions and root cause analysis.

6. Participate in on-call rotation and incident management aligned with the client's time zone.

7. Maintain system health dashboards and automate routine checks where possible.

Required Skills Experience:

• Strong experience with Tandem HP NonStop systems.

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments.

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Sybase, Oracle, and other relational databases.

• Experience in production support, incident management, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools e.g. ServiceNow, Jira.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently during off-hours.
