
IT Systems Support Professional

The IT Support Specialist plays a vital role in providing high-quality technical assistance to our clients, ensuring their IT systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide remote technical support via phone, email, or chat, addressing a wide range of IT-related issues including hardware and software troubleshooting, network connectivity problems, and system configurations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify probable causes of the issue, educate them about the issue, and course of actions to be taken.
- Troubleshoot Line of Business (LoB) apps, LAN activities, backups, maintenance, server upgrades, and patching to enhance IT operations.
- Analyze and Resolve Issues by evaluating complex IT business needs presented through tickets, researching available resources efficiently, and recommending effective technical solutions.
- Prioritize tasks based on their impact on business operations, taking urgent action to minimize downtime during high-severity incidents such as server failures or widespread outages.
- Troubleshoot Networking Tickets, Cloud platform networking tickets, COTS products, Operating System (OS), Application Crash Analysis, Microsoft 365, and Fortinet VPN.
- Document all activities, including backups, maintenance, server upgrades, and patching, and coordinate tasks to ensure smooth network operations.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' satisfaction and success by delivering exceptional technical support services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Hands-on experience in helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting Server Infrastructure tickets, Windows OS, and LoB apps issues.
- Technical proficiency in multiple areas, including security, networking, server administration, and hardware.
- Strong customer-facing interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Intune management is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a related field, preferably in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment, professional services, and/or industry.
- Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) is preferred.
