Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Operations Manager to join our team at Max Life Insurance. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to take on a leadership role and drive business growth.

About the Role

This senior-level position will be responsible for leading the sales desk daily operations, managing a team of 15 Sales Desk Managers, and providing strategic direction to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of life insurance planning techniques and case development, as well as excellent communication and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Sales Desk Daily Operations, including tracking large cases and driving incremental life premium growth.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies to support agents and managers in winning life product competitive cases.
  • Provide sales tracking, reporting, and analysis as necessary.
  • Work with the LPC Team, Sales Promotion, Marketing, Product, and Operation teams to establish class advisors through sales desks and resolve queries from the field.
  • Set up a governance rhythm and expectations with the team, onboard new members, and provide continuous skilling and training.
  • Conduct quality checks on work done and drive advisor activation.
Measures of Success

The successful candidate will be measured on their ability to increase activation, NOP, and premium growth in the given agent segment, achieve the annual goal sheet, and maintain satisfactory resolution of queries received from the field. Additionally, they must ensure a feedback rating of more than 4 out of 5.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A Post Graduate degree in any stream.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in case development and life insurance planning techniques.
  • Strong industry knowledge, particularly with the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong business acumen to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
  • Proficient selling skills, hiring, and selection abilities, as well as expertise in relationship building.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be ₹25 lakhs per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
