Senior Manager Sales Operations Lead

Job Overview:
The Sales Operations Senior Manager is responsible for streamlining sales processes, managing sales data, and improving overall sales efficiency. They will provide critical analysis and support to the sales team, ensuring operations run smoothly and sales targets are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Process Optimization: Design, implement, and improve sales processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Analyze sales practices and workflows to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
- Develop sales KPIs to ensure the team meets performance targets.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain CRM system and ensure sales data integrity.
- Generate regular sales reports for leadership, offering insights into sales trends, performance, and forecasting.
- Monitor pipeline health and report on sales forecasts and actuals.
Sales Performance Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales metrics, win/loss ratios, and market trends to identify areas for growth.
- Partner with the finance team to track revenue recognition, commission structures, and profitability analysis.
Team Support and Training:
- Provide sales teams with tools, training, and resources to improve efficiency and close rates.
- Facilitate onboarding of new sales team members and ongoing training programs for existing teams.
- Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Technology and Tools Management:
- Evaluate and manage sales tech stack, including CRM systems, analytics platforms, and sales enablement tools.
- Drive adoption of sales tools and technology to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Sales Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with sales leadership team to develop sales strategies and initiatives.
- Assist in setting sales quotas, sales plans, and territory mapping.
- Align sales operations with broader company objectives to ensure consistent revenue growth.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing to align on lead generation activities, campaign tracking, and nurturing processes.
- Partner with product teams to communicate customer feedback and ensure alignment on product development efforts.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate sales forecasting and commission plans.
Customer Insights and Support:
- Analyze customer feedback and data to help improve product offerings and the customer experience.
- Manage customer segmentation and target account lists for better sales targeting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or sales management.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of improving sales processes and driving performance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other sales analytics tools.
