About the Position

The Senior Office Assistant plays a vital role in supporting various accounting responsibilities and audits. This position requires a strong background in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, check, and review accounting entries in the books of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and manage accounts receivable/accounts payable to maintain financial integrity.
  • Support statutory and internal audits with working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes to minimize risks.
  • Assist in Management Information Systems (MIS), data analysis, and budgeting exercises to drive business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or Master's degree in Commerce (M. Com) with CA Inter certification and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from the education sector.
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Excel, Word, and able to work in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Tally ERP Prime to enhance productivity.
  • Team player with ability to work independently, result-oriented approach, effective communication, and interpersonal skills to achieve organizational goals.
