Regional Finance Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to take on the role of Regional Head of Finance. This position is critical in leading regional financial reporting and closing, financial planning and cash flow management, while also providing strategic financial insights to the regional management team, tax, treasury, and governance.

This senior leadership position will oversee the financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and monitoring and adapting to financial regulation changes. The successful candidate will drive improvements in financial processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing reporting accuracy.

The Regional Head of Finance will act as the main contact for auditors and provide financial expertise and guidance to leadership, contributing to business planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting. They will also coach, develop, and motivate a team of finance professionals, supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing regional finance strategy and objectives in line with global strategy
  • Overseeing the financial closing process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Supervising the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
  • Ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and monitoring and adapting to financial regulation changes
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing reporting accuracy
  • Acting as the main contact for auditors
  • Providing financial expertise and guidance to leadership, contributing to business planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting
  • Coaching, developing, and motivating a team of finance professionals
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall financial governance

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant controlling and advisory experience
  • Experience managing and developing Finance teams in a multi-national environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate complex financial environments and drive process efficiencies
