Website Lead & Social Commerce Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Website Lead & Social Commerce professional, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through our website and social commerce channels. This role combines profit and loss ownership, performance marketing leadership, and content-driven commerce strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning P&L for direct-to-consumer (D2C) and social commerce channels, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Proactively driving business by exploring new commerce models, innovative campaigns to maximize revenue.
  • Optimizing marketing spends while improving return on investment.
  • Leading website strategy, ensuring world-class UX/UI, fast checkout, and personalized journeys for customers.
  • Building and scaling social commerce initiatives across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Designing content-led commerce campaigns that leverage brand storytelling to drive sales.
  • Working closely with the performance marketing agency to drive customer acquisition, retargeting, referral, and affiliate programs.
  • Partnering with the SEO agency to improve organic visibility, search rankings, and content performance.
  • Collaborating with influencers, marketplaces, affiliate partners, and other ecosystem players to drive both business and brand outcomes.
Key Deliverables:
  1. Achieving D2C revenue targets and delivering profitable unit economics.
  2. Growing social commerce revenue contribution to overall digital P&L.
  3. Driving double-digit YoY growth in D2C transactions and customer acquisition.
  4. Building a best-in-class website experience optimized for conversions.
  5. Launching data-backed personalization strategies to increase retention and repeat purchases.
