Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Sithafal Technologies seeks a skilled IT support specialist to provide comprehensive IT support across systems, networks, servers, and cloud platforms. The role involves managing day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring security compliance, and supporting business applications and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System & User Support:
  • • Provide end-to-end support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and access controls (Active Directory, Intune, O365).
  • • Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues.
  • Networking & Infrastructure:
  • • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • • Maintain and monitor network security and connectivity.
  • • Support VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote access solutions.
  • Server & Application Support:
  • • Manage and maintain Windows Servers, Exchange, and SharePoint environments.
  • • Perform backup and recovery operations using Veeam.
  • • Support SQL Server databases (basic administration, backup, monitoring).
  • Cloud & Security:
  • • Administer Microsoft 365 (O365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online).
  • • Manage Azure services including Intune, Azure AD, Defender, and Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, artifacts, boards).
  • • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automation, testing, and deployment.
  • • Monitor and enhance security posture to comply with CMMC and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • • Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset registers.
  • • Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies and international standards.
  • • Assist with internal and external IT audits.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Technical Expertise:
  • • Strong knowledge of firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • • Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
  • • Hands-on with Microsoft 365 (O365, Exchange, SharePoint).
  • • Experience in backup solutions (Veeam).
  • • Familiarity with SQL Server management.
  • • Proficient in Azure Intune, Azure AD, Defender, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Networking & Security:
  • • Proficiency in network troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
  • • Understanding of VPNs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs.
  • • Knowledge of CMMC, ISO 27001, and security best practices.
  • Soft Skills:
  • • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

A customer-first mindset with proactive support approach is essential for this role.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (bonus)
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+
  • ITIL Foundation (optional but a plus)
  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
