
Spearhead Product Growth through Innovative Category Strategies

As a strategic and results-driven Product Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of product category strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- You will analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and supply chain, to develop and implement category plans that meet business objectives.
- You will own the P&L for assigned categories, including sales, margins, inventory, and marketing spends.
You will also be responsible for:
- Developing and managing relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Owning and executing product assortment planning, including seasonal and promotional planning.
- Collaborating with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns, promotions, and seasonal collections that drive sales and revenue.
In addition, you will:
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance revenue goals with customer needs.
- Ensure seamless vendor operations from procurement to fulfillment.
Requirements include:
- 4-8 years of experience in category management, buying/merchandising, or business strategy (preferably in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or quick commerce).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think strategically and drive results-oriented initiatives.
Preferred qualifications include:
- MBA or Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management.
- Prior experience in non-apparel categories such as beauty, electronics, or FMCG.
- Exposure to fast-paced startups, e-commerce platforms, or retail companies.
