IT Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT support professional to join our team. As an IT support specialist, you will provide first-level technical assistance to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Analyze and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Monitor and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Assist in the maintenance of computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Install and update software across the company's systems.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with 2-3 years of experience in IT support or administration. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, network concepts, hardware components, and office productivity software.
  • Added advantage: IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or similar; basic knowledge of network security and firewall configurations; familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
