Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Provide expert technical support to internal and external users, including customer service teams and clients.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.
  • Collaborate with QA lead on QA activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external customers to quickly resolve their problems.
  • Develop and propose workarounds to customers when a fix will take time to be released.
  • Foster timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Pursue proactive follow-ups with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications and technologies.
  • Contribute to procedural documentation and knowledge base.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases for quality and performance.
  • Generate innovative ideas and out-of-the-box solutions for smooth operational processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
  • Experience with tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, and AWS.
  • Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Experience in ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Development mindset to quickly scale into a developer with minimal training.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
