Job Title: IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team.

  • Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical assistance for users of client software by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or requests.
  2. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  3. Use the IT Service Management system to review and respond to requests for support.
  4. Evaluate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge and escalate to internal resources or vendors as necessary.
  5. Work with end-users to reproduce reported issues in test environments and report those issues to the development team or application vendor.
  6. Perform maintenance of existing custom software, including end-user support.
  7. Monitor performance of applications after implementation.
  8. Communicate status and issues to supervisor.

Troubleshooting and Support Services:

  • Password resets.
  • Add/Remove O365 licenses.
  • Fix broken mapped network drives.
  • Add/remove PC user (Local/Domain).
  • Operating systems.
  • Add printers (Local and Networked)
  • Install client-side software.
  • Troubleshoot client-side network connection
  • Office 365 troubleshooting
  • Setup email on mobile devices.
  • Adding, updating, and maintaining client run book service information as needed.

Answering Incoming Service Desk Emails:

  • Create tickets and collect basic client information.
  • Company information.
  • User.
  • Issue.
  • Who's affected.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. The position requires a high level of organizational skill, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems and software applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
