Job Summary

As a senior business consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to support the delivery of our treasury management solution, ensuring it meets the client's needs.

  • Provide industry and functional expertise in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of the solution.
  • Present the solution to client users, effectively communicating its features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants to review, test, and validate scripted solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
  • Consult with clients to determine their business needs and work processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) configuration and the treasury business.
  • Offer guidance to business consultants in functional areas of the product solution.
  • Assist with professional services best practices as directed by line managers.
  • Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the product implementation, reporting to the project manager.
  • Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and other deliverables required by the project.
  • Keep line managers and project managers informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Treasury experience with hands-on TMS knowledge, preferably with Reval.
  • Front Office/Risk: Experience with derivatives, including foreign exchanges, interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps. Familiarity with other deal types, such as external debt deals, intercompany loans, credit facilities, letters of credit, and guarantees.
  • Risk: Familiarity with hedging programs, including cash flow and fair value hedges. Understanding of cash flow and fair value hedges with mark-to-market (MTM) and realized gains/losses.
  • Risk/Hedge Accounting: Understanding of risk accounting, including derivative assets, liabilities, OCI, MTM, interest payable/receivable, etc.
  • Payments: Experience with MT101 and XML payments. Understanding of domestic and international payments in formats MT101 and XML.
  • Cash Management: Understanding of cash management items, including cash positioning and reconciliation. Knowledge of how overall cash impacts a company and the importance of reconciling bank statements.
  • Cash Accounting: Experience in cash accounting and understanding of entries generated from transactions within bank statements.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work as part of a project team structure.
  • Ability to work onsite at client locations.
