About Us

The New Indian Express Group is one of India's oldest and largest media houses, founded by the Late Shri Ramnath Goenka.

We publish newspapers and periodicals from 33 centres across the country, with a presence in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, and the Union Territories of Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Yanam, and Lakshadweep.

Our publications include English dailies such as The New Indian Express and The Morning Standard, as well as Tamil daily Dinamani and Samakalika Malayalam Varika, a weekly magazine in Malayalam.

We are looking for a proactive and efficient individual to join our team as a Media Library Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Indexing news articles

• Writing captions for photos and illustrations

• Providing information to reporters, correspondents, and editors using in-house databases

• Maintaining the physical library of The New Indian Express Group

• Uploading digital pages of newspapers

Requirements:

• Master in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or Master in Mass Communication/English Literature with strong English skills

• 2-3 years of experience in newspapers or television industries

• Freshers can also apply
