Financial Operations Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  1. Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Prepare year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, providing a clear picture of the company's financial position.
  3. Handle GST-related matters, responding to notices and ensuring timely compliance with tax authorities.
  4. Coordinate with banks for credit renewals, limit extensions, and maintain strong banking relationships to support business growth.
  5. Facilitate audit processes, coordinating with external and internal auditors to ensure smooth completion.
  6. Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business expansion, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
  7. Maintain cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting to inform business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • CMA or CA certification, demonstrating expertise in financial management and accounting principles.
  • 5-8 years of experience in finance, preferably in the infrastructure sector, with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Proven track record of handling GST compliance and responding to notices, showcasing expertise in tax regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing foreign Letters of Credit and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis, with proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills for coordinating with banks and internal teams.
