About the Job
- We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives and drive continuous improvements in our production lines.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in process quality, with expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes, PCB assembly, and testing processes.
Responsibilities
- To enhance First Pass Yield (FPY), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- To establish robust quality processes, quality gates, and mistake-proofing techniques to prevent customer escapes.
- To review high Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) impact parts/products and develop strategies to eliminate abnormalities.
- To develop and maintain Quality Plans, Quality alerts, and Visual management for all project phases.
- To conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and other process documents for New Product Introductions (NPIs).
- To run the Rapid Problem Solution (RPS) System and sustain process Non-Conformance Report (NCR) closure Turnaround Time (TAT).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience working in Process Quality, preferably in PCBA manufacturing and Testing lines.
- Excellent knowledge of PCBA troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
- Expertise in SMT processes, PCB assembly, and testing processes.
