Remote Desktop Support Engineer Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Remote Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch technical support to our users.

Job Description:

  • Provide round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing system within SLA timelines.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Support users across different time zones and ensure minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Offer timely assistance to users experiencing technical difficulties.
  2. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  3. Develop effective communication strategies to ensure seamless collaboration with global teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field (optional).
  • 3+ years of experience in desktop support engineering.
  • Flexibility to work in three shifts: Morning, Evening, and Night.
  • Ability to maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity.
  • Capacity to collaborate with global IT teams for coordinated support.

Work Environment:

  • Rotational 24/7 support including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Flexible working hours with ability to adjust schedules as needed.
