The Deputy General Manager position is a key role within the organization, overseeing critical aspects of tendering and bid management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing tenders for Oil and Gas, Energy sectors involves meticulous preparation and execution.
- Effective end-to-end Bid management/Tendering requires expertise in technical writeup & cost estimation, subcontracting, JVs, consortium, client liaisoning and project management.
- Tender identification from PSUs, Govt Agencies and private companies demands extensive research through various resources.
- Maintaining excellent professional relations with clients and coordinating with central functions for bid compliance (accounts, legal, FICO, etc.) ensures successful outcomes.
- Achieving order booking targets from Tenders necessitates strategic planning and execution.
- Documentation and correspondence of BD activities and updating of credentials on a regular basis are crucial for success.
- Business Sales Forecasting plays a vital role in informing business decisions.
- New empanelment and renewal of existing empanelment with PSU and other agencies require proactive efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in bidding/Tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience preferred.
- MBA qualification is advantageous.
