Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a technical support specialist, providing assistance to customers with software-related issues. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our web and mobile applications.

You will work closely with client success teams to provide tier-2 client support and collaborate with engineers to debug and resolve technical issues.

  • Provide technical support to internal and external users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.
  • Assist the QA lead with quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root cause of their problems.
  • Propose workarounds to customers when fixes will take time to be released.
  • Offer timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
  • Provide support through procedural documentation.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Test and evaluate new releases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm Central Time).
  • Experience in tech support for web-based business applications with a mobile interface.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, and AWS.
  • Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Experience with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Development mindset to scale into a developer with minimal training.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
