
Customer Marketing Strategy Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Customer Marketing Operations Director. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, experience in marketing operations, and a proven track record of success in event management.
The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of progressive experience in marketing operations, event marketing, or experiential marketing. They will be responsible for bridging the gap between marketing strategy and flawless event execution, ensuring our events deliver measurable marketing results.
This is a hands-on role that combines agency-side client management with operational excellence. The Customer Marketing Operations Director will oversee a team of 20-30 full-time employees, including Regional Customer Success Managers, Audience Acquisition Team Leads, Campaign Specialists, and Data Research Associates.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Event Production team to ensure end-to-end event production from initial strategy development through post-event analysis.
- Translate client marketing objectives into targeted event experiences using proprietary audience intelligence.
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure event design aligns with broader marketing campaign goals.
- Strong project management capabilities with experience using tools like Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Vendor management experience including contract negotiation and relationship building.
- Proficiency with marketing technology stack including CRM systems, event platforms, and analytics tools.
- Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and cross-channel optimization.
The successful candidate will have a strong data-driven mindset, crisis management abilities, and team coordination skills. They will be able to present strategies and manage expectations effectively, as well as coordinate with freelancers, temporary staff, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience at experiential marketing agencies or event marketing firms.
- Background in B2B marketing with understanding of lead generation and nurturing processes.
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and lead management systems.
