Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced business professional to assume key responsibilities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strive to achieve defined revenue and cost goals through effective business development strategies.
  • Develop proposals that incorporate requirements gathered during client briefings, winning research solutions, commercial frameworks, and effective presentations.
  • Participate in tasks related to business development with the support of senior colleagues, participate in marketing outreach programs, and develop industry/capability decks, white papers, thought papers, articles, case studies, etc., to support business development.
  • Lead the development/training/mentoring of a team of professionals specialized in offering techno-commercial research & advisory services in chemicals & materials domain, ensuring the nurturing and recruitment of team members as needed.
  • Handle all client communication, including client queries regarding specific studies – kick-off calls, deliverable presentations, feedback calls, etc.

Qualifications, Experience, and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in chemical & material or related fields or equivalent experience; OR bachelor's in chemical/polymer science/metallurgy/industrial and MBA.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in business research or consulting type engagements.
  • Deep level of primary research experience firsthand, with the ability to train team members and improve their primary research skills, preferably in pricing & cost analysis.
  • Rich experience in end-to-end management of business research or consulting engagements, up-to-date with recent industry happenings and challenge areas for Chemicals and Natural Resource industry, and aware of latest trends like sustainability, biomaterials, carbon neutrality, resource optimization, circular economy, and digitization.
  • Past and current experience handling teams of qualified professionals.
  • Excellent knowledge of Market Analysis, Business Analysis, Technology Analysis, Competitor Intelligence, Management Frameworks, Advanced MS Office, Forecasting, and Business Writing.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Self-organized, planned, matured, detail-oriented, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
