Job Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT specialist to join our technical team. The specialist will be responsible for handling escalated technical issues, providing in-depth troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth resolution of incidents that cannot be resolved at the L1 level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle complex technical issues, service requests, and escalations from the support team.
  • Perform advanced root cause analysis, provide timely resolutions, and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with experts, development teams, and vendors for complex issue resolution.
  • Document solutions, knowledge articles, and update standard operating procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and after-hours support as required.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to maintain optimal performance.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions to improve service stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware components.
  • Experience with troubleshooting software, hardware, and infrastructure issues.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and knowledge management systems.
  • Basic understanding of firewalls, networking protocols, and server administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under pressure.
