Marketplace Growth Specialist Job Description

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Growth Specialist to drive traffic, sales, and average order value (AOV) for our marketplaces. The successful candidate will lead growth strategies, manage the marketplace team, and optimize assortment, pricing, content, and quality of listings for maximum organic visibility and conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute growth plans specific to each marketplace to increase revenue and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with key account managers, growth teams, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of marketplace strategies.
  • Monitor marketplace performance, analyze key metrics, and prepare reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Regularly analyze sales data, customer feedback, competitor data, and market trends to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Build relationships with key counterparts at marketplaces and ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
  • Work with the operations team on demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Requirements:

5-7 years of experience in e-commerce management with a focus on online marketplaces is required. Proficiency in e-commerce marketing and growth strategies is essential. Familiarity with the FMCG category is preferred.
