Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive growth in the assigned territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to take ownership of sales strategy, build strong relationships with customers, and contribute to the company's success.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing sales plans to achieve targeted sales volumes, value, and net contributions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborating with channel distributors to achieve sales and profitability targets
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow revenue
- Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements
- Providing regular sales forecasts and reporting on performance
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A science graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably with an MBA
- At least 5+ years' experience in sales of lab chemicals or consumables, or instruments
