Job Overview
As a Senior Client Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the municipal corporations, state governments, government provident fund trusts, embassies, gram panchayats, government boards, and development authorities sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- To acquire and service government clients in assigned territories, focusing on cross-selling products and services like term deposits, loans, cash management services, fees collection, mobile/digital solutions, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a primary point of contact for their needs and concerns.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry knowledge and connections to drive sales growth.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of 13-18 years of relevant work experience in banking, preferably handling a sizable government business current account (GB CASA) book.
- Strong banking knowledge and expertise in bank products, processes, and systems.
- Knowledge of PFMS/SNA/CNA accounts and state and central government schemes.
- Good network and relationships with state government officials.
- Excellent analytical and MIS skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent qualifications.
