Property Acquisition Specialist

As a Property Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential locations for new retail stores by conducting market research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Property Identification:

Assist in evaluating local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes to identify suitable locations for new retail stores.

Conduct site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility.

Prepare basic reports with key findings and recommendations for shortlisted properties.

2. Site Visits & Initial Assessments:

Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of potential locations.

Work closely with senior managers to negotiate lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.

3. Negotiation Support:

Support senior managers in negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.

4. Coordination & Documentation:

Work closely with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements.

Maintain updated records of property details, contracts, and approvals.

5. Vendor & Broker Relations:

Build relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings.

Coordinate and manage broker communications and property inquiries.

6. Regulatory & Compliance Assistance:

Ensure all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties.

Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals in coordination with relevant teams.

7. Reporting & Feedback:

Prepare regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management.

Provide feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations.


• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
