Bid Management Expertise

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Bid & Offer Manager to join our team during this exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Manager, Technical Direction, and Account Manager to manage the end-to-end bid process.

Job Description:

  • The role involves pre-sales, ensuring offers and project references readiness;
  • Anticipating next major RFI/RFP and associated risks;
  • Closely coordinating (BU, TD, and Global Pre-sales), defining and following action plans for major RFI/RFP;
  • Supporting new business strategy and development;
  • Preparing and organizing documents required for bids;
  • Bid Management, maximizing the value of ALTEN's offer;
  • Supporting Business Manager and TD in the use of the CRM tool during the bid process;
  • Qualifying business and strategy to answer;
  • Checking quality of the offer and financial form prior to the offer review;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ambitious and experienced Bid & Offer Manager;
  • Strong coordination skills, with ability to define and follow action plans;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Experience with CRM tools and data analysis;
  • Familiarity with bid management processes and procedures;
  • Knowledge of business strategy and development;

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to Management, BU, TD, and Pre-Sales Head;

  • Monitoring adherence to the bid process and alerting if not respected;
  • Analyzing the maturity of the bid process by Business Unit and defining and rolling out the associated action plans;
  • Performing analysis for each semester for main reason for win/lose;
  • Captializing best practices, offers, and templates to maximize win rate&reuse;
  • Explaining and enforcing the BID process, method, and tools.
