Project Director

The primary goal of this role is to oversee the successful execution of projects. This entails planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within predetermined parameters such as budget, timeline, and scope. Effective project monitoring and presentation of updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or team members are also essential responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing project timelines
  • Monitoring project deliverables
  • Providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and team members
  • Coaching and supporting team members in their assigned tasks
  • Ensuring proper documentation of project activities
  • Leading and managing all MEP activities across multiple projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, ELV systems)
  • Facilitating collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for seamless integration
  • Ensuring adherence to local and international codes and safety regulations
  • Overseeing procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations for MEP services
  • Conducting site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with design and safety standards
  • Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders and senior management
  • Implementing energy-efficient and sustainable MEP solutions
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in MEP project management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of green building practices and energy codes is beneficial
