We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales and Business Development Lead to spearhead growth and expansion in the high-end apparel market.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a deep understanding of distribution channels, trends, and customer preferences.

This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve targets and expand our customer base within the targeted apparel market. You will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with potential clients, including boutiques, fashion stores, and other retail partners.

In addition to this, you will conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, using this information to inform sales strategies.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and expand our customer base within the targeted apparel market.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and establish relationships with potential clients, including boutiques, fashion stores, and other retail partners. Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, using this information to inform sales strategies.
  • Product Presentation: Present and demonstrate our product line to potential clients, emphasizing quality, trendy designs, and unique features of our apparel.
  • Sales Agreements: Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals to secure new business.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, fashion events, and other industry-related gatherings to promote our brand and expand our network.

Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically within the branded apparel industry in India.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and negotiate with clients.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a track record of closing significant deals.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
