Job Overview

The Human Resources and People Strategy team plays a vital role in managing the entire employee lifecycle.

  • Talent acquisition and HR operations are key components of this role.

The job involves end-to-end execution, documentation, governance, vendor coordination, audits, and proactive process improvement across HR compliance activities at both entity and group levels.

The Associate Manager - Compliance is responsible for ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory labour laws.

Key Responsibilities include timely compliance with labour laws such as EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, S&E Acts, ID Act, Gratuity Act, etc.

  • State-wise compliance requirements and filings must be overseen across locations.
  • Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations (Form 2, ESIC, PF nomination, UAN verification).
  • Address and resolve employee PF-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.
  • Ensure real-time tracking and closure of compliance deliverables using the company's compliance tracking system.
  • Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by sector regulators.
  • Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained as per regulator requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Law, or related field.
  • Additional certification in labour law or statutory compliance is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry (financial services, fintech, or insurance).
  • Hands-on experience managing compliance audits, inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of central and state labour laws and statutory regulations.
  • Familiarity with sector-specific compliance (regulatory bodies).
  • Ability to manage multi-state compliance complexity.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and audit readiness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using compliance tracking tools, HRMS, and MS Office.
