Siemens Logistics India Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and bidding team, you will be responsible for creating sales pipelines, carrying out sales forecasts, and presenting your findings to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create sales pipelines and carry out sales forecasts
  • Prepare bids for tenders, including SITC projects and customer service projects
  • Follow standard processes for recording opportunities and bid preparation
  • Closely interact with engineering, procurement, project management, commercial, and finance departments for bid preparation
  • Work with international partners and cross-cultural teams
  • Negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers
  • Have a good understanding of our products or services and be able to advise others
  • Generate leads, cold call prospective customers, and foster relationships with customers
  • Understand customer needs and respond effectively

    Requirements:

    • Automation, electrical, or mechanical engineer with 12-15 years of experience in sales and bidding
    • Management degree preferred
    • Independently handled bids up to 1500 Million INR or more
    • Experience in relevant industry sectors
    • Strong communication and networking skills
