
Agriculture Sales Professional

As a Relationship Manager in the Retail Agri sector, you will be responsible for acquiring, enhancing, and retaining customers by providing exceptional services and acting as their dedicated point of contact.
You will source and business generate through geographical market scoping, sourcing proposals from individual farmers, cooperative societies, rural mandis, and markets. You will also conduct marketing activities to generate new business, work on productivity benchmarks, and keep up-to-date with market updates, changes in products, processes, requirements, competition, and customer behavior.
Additionally, you will build relationships with new and existing customers, liaison with agro centers, rural mandis, and rural markets, address complaints within stipulated TAT, and work towards minimal delinquency in the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Business Generation: Source and business generate through geographical market scoping, sourcing proposals from individual farmers, cooperative societies, rural mandis, and markets.
- Relationship Building and Maintenance: Build relationships with new and existing customers, liaison with agro centers, rural mandis, and rural markets.
- Delinquency Rotation & Recovery: Work towards minimal delinquency in the portfolio, follow-up with customers for recovery, and ensure submission of documents like LAD, CAM, etc.
- Farmers Education and Capacity Building: Conduct village-level farmer meetings, educate farmers on various products offered by the bank, and make them aware of various aspects of banking and tools and technology for improving farm production.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduation (preferably in Agri Business)
- Post-Graduation MBA (preferably in Agri Business)
- Sales and Influencing Skills
- Banking Product & Process Knowledge
- Planning and Organizing Skills
- Communication
- Knowledge of Competition & Current trends in financial Industry
