As a Relationship Manager in our Retail Agri team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with customers across the agri sector. Your primary objective will be to acquire, enhance, and retain customers by providing exceptional services as their dedicated point of contact.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Business Generation: Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to source new customers, leveraging your expertise in farming and rural communities.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, competition, and customer behavior.
- Relationship Building and Maintenance: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring timely resolution of complaints and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Delinquency Rotation & Recovery: Work closely with the credit team to minimize delinquency and ensure prompt recovery of outstanding amounts.
- Farmers Education and Capacity Building: Educate farmers on various bank products and services, enhancing their knowledge and skills to improve farm production.
- Cross Selling and Promotions: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other assets and liability products, promoting digital platforms to enhance customer experience.
- Training and Development: Utilize sales resources to provide optimal support, grooming supporting staff through regular training sessions.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with credit teams, branch banking operations, farmers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and efficient delivery of services.
Requirements:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional with a minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role or sales experience in seed companies, fertilizer companies, agri product companies, banks, etc. A preferred candidate would have experience in banking and financial services.
