
Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to strengthen our domestic partnerships network in Central India. This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with state tourism boards, attractions, and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in client relationship management, partnerships, and business development, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.
This individual will represent the company in external meetings, secure proposals, negotiate terms, and deliver on defined sales and partnership targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Development: Build and manage strong relationships with domestic partners, including state tourism boards, attractions, and hospitality brands.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Meetings & Proposals: Conduct partner meetings, present proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Negotiations & Agreements: Lead discussions on contracts and agreements with tourism boards and state bodies; ensure all deliverables are aligned and achieved.
- Sales & Revenue Targets: Work towards defined sales and partnership goals while identifying new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Travel & Representation: Represent the company in partner meetings, trade events, and roadshows across Central India.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor tourism trends, competitor strategies, and partner developments to support decision-making and strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (product, supply, marketing) to ensure alignment on partner deliverables.
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of proven experience in partnerships, client relations, or business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting sales/partnership targets.
- Open to extensive travel across India and flexible to work remotely when stationed at partner locations.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days):
- Secure partnerships and proposals from at least 2–3 key state tourism boards.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements aligned with annual targets.
- Establish strong client relationships and a regular meeting schedule with domestic partners.
- Deliver a pipeline of new partnership opportunities for expansion in Central India.
