Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Engineer to join our team.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation is required.
  • Candidates should have strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, MID Server configuration, and dependency mapping is essential.
  • A proficiency in developing and maintaining integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc) is necessary.
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide, and use of Flow Designer are required.
  • Candidates should have experience working in an Agile or DevOps-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules such as SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management), GRC, or HRSD is an asset.
  • An understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes is necessary.
  • Experience working on large-scale, global ServiceNow implementations is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CMDB best practices, health dashboards, and data normalization is required.
Responsibilities
  1. Thoroughly understand functional requirements and analyze client needs in the context of the project.
  2. Envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
  3. Determine and implement design methodologies and toolsets.
  4. Enable application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
  5. Lead/support UAT and production rollouts.
  6. Create, understand, and validate WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and justify it.
  7. Address issues promptly, respond positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  8. Giving constructive feedback to team members and setting clear expectations.
  9. Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.
  10. Coming up with solutions to any issue raised during code/design review and justifying the decision taken.
  11. Carrying out POCs to ensure that suggested design/technologies meet requirements.
